Description: [0001] The present invention relates to the field of structural folding and storage devices and more particularly to the field of railing folding devices on corbelled work platforms.
Corbelled work platforms are structures that have become essential to allow the movement and movement of workers on sites at height. Currently, the deployment and folding of these work platforms is a manually performed operation that involves one or more manipulators to allow the establishment of different structural elements. For storage facilities, but also for a rapid deployment of work platforms, it is common to provide platforms whose guardrails are adapted to be positioned horizontally, under the floor of the platform, when the platform is folded. The change of position of the railing from a storage position to a safe position is effected by removing the guardrail in a horizontal plane until the feet of the guardrail come into abutment blocking the guardrail in a intermediate position to be raised and tilted to a safe position.
Although widespread, this embodiment has the disadvantage of generating wear and significant effort because of the friction that exists at the feet of the guardrail during its removal from the floor of the platform. In addition, guardrails are structural elements of work platforms that are heavy and difficult to handle. Also, this embodiment also has the disadvantage of not being easy to use for a single person.
The present invention aims to overcome these disadvantages by providing a device for guiding and lifting the railing of a work platform allowing easy handling both in deployment and in the folding of the work platform while by limiting the wear and degradation of some parts of the railing.
The invention thus relates to a device for guiding and lifting at least one railing for storage and deployment on a work platform, the railing being adapted to be moved reversibly from a first storage position against the surface of a floor of the work platform to a second intermediate position translated relative to the floor to allow a tilting of the railing relative to the working platform, then to a third position tilted relative in the plane of the floor of the working platform, characterized in that the guiding and lifting device comprises: - at least one guide rail mounted on one of the faces of the floor of the platform, - at least one wheel assembly mounted on a part of the guardrail and forming a hinge member for the balance of the railing relative to the guide rail and the working platform, the rolling assembly comprising at least a first rolling mechanism arranged to move along at least a first surface of the guide rail, so that the displacement of the rolling assembly on the rail is made along an axis orthogonal to the axis of pivoting the guardrail relative to the floor of the work platform.
The invention will be better understood, thanks to the following description, which refers to a preferred embodiment, given by way of non-limiting example, and explained with reference to the accompanying schematic drawings, in which: the fig. 1 relates to a lower offset view of a corbelled working platform incorporating an example of a guiding and lifting device according to the invention, FIG. 2 relates to a schematic side view of an exemplary guiding and lifting device according to the invention when the guardrail is in a storage position, FIG. 3 relates to a schematic side view of an exemplary guiding and lifting device according to the invention when the railing is in translation to an intermediate position translated, FIG. 4 relates to a schematic side view of an example of a guiding and lifting device according to the invention when the railing is in the intermediate position translated, FIG. 5 relates to a schematic side view of an exemplary guiding and lifting device according to the invention when the guardrail is in the tilted position.
The present invention relates to a device for guiding and lifting at least one railing for storage and deployment on a working platform 10, the railing 11 being adapted to be reversibly moved from a first storage position against the surface of a floor 4 of the working platform 10 to a second intermediate position translated relative to the floor 4 to allow a tilting of the guardrail 11 relative to the working platform 10, then to a third position tilted with respect to the plane of the floor 4 of the working platform 10, characterized in that the guiding and lifting device comprises: - at least one guide rail 3 mounted on one of the faces of the floor 4 of the platform 10 at least one wheel assembly 1 mounted on a part of the railing 11 and forming a hinge element for the latch of the railing 4 relative to the guide rail 3 and to the plate working form 10, [0009] F rolling assembly 1 comprising at least a first rolling mechanism 2 arranged to move along at least a first surface of the guide rail 3, so that the displacement of the rolling assembly 1 on the rail 3 is formed along an axis orthogonal to the pivot axis of the railing 11 relative to the floor 4 of the working platform 10.
In this document, it is appropriate to understand the term "rolling mechanism" as referring in particular to a system comprising a rolling part relative to another. This rolling mechanism can thus correspond to a wheel integral with the rolling assembly and whose periphery is in friction along a guide rail.
According to an exemplary embodiment, the floor 4 of the platform 10 has on one of its faces, two guide rails 3 arranged parallel to each other. The ends of these rails 3 located on the same side are disposed at an edge of the floor 4 at which the guardrail 11 is positioned / mounted. Although this is not a limitation of the invention, the rails 3 are positioned under the floor 4 of the platform 10. These rails 3 have at least a portion of their U-shaped section, one of the branches is fixed to the floor 4. The rolling mechanism 2 is positioned movable between the branches of the "U". According to a particular embodiment, these two guide rails 3 are mounted-fixed to the floor 4 so that the respective "U" sections of the rails 4 are open to one another.
According to a particular embodiment, the guardrail 11 has a structure formed by a frame, for example mesh and / or unfoldable. This frame comprises at one of its ends, feet 11a at each of which is mounted a rolling assembly 1 formed in particular by at least one rolling mechanism 2. These feet 11a provide the lower end of the railing 11; the term "lower" is defined, here, relative to the railing 11 when it is disposed in a tilted position substantially vertical or slightly inclined relative to a vertical position.
This rolling mechanism 2 movable in rotation with the foot 11a of the frame interacts with a surface of the guide rail 3. This guide rail 3 thus provides a path for this moving assembly 1. The positioning of the assembly 1 at each end of the guide rail 3 corresponds to an arrangement of the railing 11 in a storage position and in a translated or tilted position, the translated and tilted positions being obtained when the wheel assembly 1 is at the end of the guide rail 3 located on the side where the guard rail 11 is positioned / mounted.
According to a preferred embodiment, when the guide rails 3 are mounted-fixed under the floor 4 of the platform 10, the ends of the guide rails 3 located on the side where is positioned / mounted the guardrail 11 exceed from the edge of the floor 4 to allow a vertical rocking of the railing 11.
According to one embodiment of the invention, the rolling assembly 1 carries the pivot axis of the railing 11 relative to the rest of the working platform 10. When the device of the invention comprises several sets 1, for example to each of the feet 11 interacting with a guide rail 3, each of the rolling assemblies I carries the pivot axis of the railing 11. According to an exemplary embodiment, this pivot axis can then be formed by the axis of rotation of the first rolling mechanism 2 when it is positioned at the end of travel at one end of the guide rail 3.
In the storage position, the railing 11 is inserted between the two guide rails 3 so as to be positioned against the floor 4 of the platform 10 in a plane parallel to the plane of the floor 4.
In the translated position, the railing 11 is moved along the guide rails 3, the rolling assembly 1 is then positioned at the end of the guide rails 3 located on the side where is positioned / mounted the guard- body 11.
In the tilted position, the railing 11 is pivotally displaced about the axis formed by the first rolling mechanism 2 of the rolling assembly 1 positioned at the end of the guide rails 3.
According to a non-limiting embodiment of the invention, in the storage position, the side edges of the frame of the railing 11 are inserted into the guide rails 3 and ensures the maintenance of the frame of the railing 11 in one position, storage. According to an alternative embodiment, this holding in the storage position is provided by elements forming lateral extensions fixed to the frame and intended to interact with the guide rails 3.
According to a particular embodiment, the rolling assembly 1 of the guiding and lifting device of the invention also comprises a torsion spring 5 comprising at least one mounted-fixed end with a portion of the railing II so that the spring 5 supports a higher tension when the guardrail 11 is in the storage position against the surface of a floor 4 and a lower tension when the guardrail 11 is in the tilting position relative to the guide rail 3 A second end of the torsion spring 5 is then mounted fixedly pivotally with the platform 10. With one end fixed to each of the pivoting parts, relative to each other, this torsion spring 5 allows a reduction of the the forces required for the user to operate the balance of the railing 11 relative to the working platform 10. This torsion spring 5 which has a voltage which decreases when the railing 11 is rotated around the axis situated at the level of the wheel assembly 1, makes it possible to compensate for the weight of the railing 11 when the latter is tilted.
According to a feature of embodiment, the turns of the torsion spring 5 are centered on the axis of the first rolling mechanism 2 of displacement of the rolling assembly 1 on the guide rail 3. The integration of this spring into torsion 5 with the rolling assembly 1 allows to position this force reducer closer to the pivot axis of the guardrail 11 and therefore at the junction point of the two elements pivoting.
According to a particular embodiment, the second end of the torsion spring 5 is in abutment against a surface of a rail, directly or via a second rolling mechanism 6. This second end, fixed in pivoting relative to the working platform 10, provides an arrangement that provides a fulcrum can be moved in translation along the rail, when the rail is mounted on the platform 10, parallel to at least one of the rails guide 3 of the device. This end makes a fulcrum against the surface of a rail via a rolling mechanism 6 to reduce or even eliminate the friction of the end of the torsion spring 5 against the rail.
According to a particular embodiment of the guiding and lifting device of the invention, the guide rail 3 for the first rolling mechanism 2 and the rail against which the torsion spring 5 is supported are an identical structure where the part the guide rail 3 against which the torsion spring 5 is supported is a second surface of the guide rail 3 different from the first surface of the rail. Such an arrangement makes it possible to benefit from an already existing guiding structure. In this feature of embodiment also illustrated by the appended figures, the rolling assembly 1 is mounted in displacement along the upper surface of the lower branch of the "U" section of the guide rail 3, while the second end of the torsion spring 5 is mounted, possibly by a second rolling mechanism 6, sliding against the lower surface of the lower branch of the "U" section of the guide rail 3.
According to a non-limiting embodiment of the guiding and lifting device of the invention, the guide rail 3 comprises, on one of its faces, an insertion element 7 of at least the first mechanism of the invention. bearing 2 of the wheel assembly 1 in a housing 8, so that the insertion of the first rolling mechanism 2 in the housing 8 positions the railing 11 in the intermediate position which allows the rocker. This housing 8 is thus preferably positioned at the end of the guide rails 3 situated on the side where the railing 11 is positioned / mounted and makes it possible to maintain and stabilize the rolling assembly 1 fixed in translation relative to the guide rail 3 during the pivoting operation of the railing 11 between the translated position and the tilted position. This housing 8 then has at least one stop disposed on the side where is positioned / mounted the railing 11. This housing 8 may also have a second stop on the side of the insertion member 7. This second stop can be formed by all or part of this insertion element 7. This second stop can be formed by an edge arranged orthogonally with respect to the bottom of the housing 8 or the guide rail 3. The positioning of the wheel assembly 1 in this housing 8 is performed by means of an insertion element 7. Thus, according to a particular non-limiting embodiment, the housing 8 is formed by a first stop positioned at one end of the portion of the guide rail 3 on which the first rolling mechanism 2 moves and a second stop formed by an edge of the insertion member 7.
According to a first exemplary embodiment, for example illustrated by the accompanying figures, the insertion element 7 is formed by a ramp whose high level is located on the side of the housing 8 and the low level is level with the guide rail 3. According to a non-limiting feature of this embodiment, the high level is positioned level with the top of the second stop.
